I’m excited to announce that starting next week I’m going to be adding yoga tutorials to my blog! These will be simple tips and instruction that has helped me as I’ve been learning. I never thought this is what I’d be doing, but I’m so grateful.
I hope the videos that I make will inspire and simplify different poses and strength exercises. So much of “getting it” is continued practice. I have failed more than I have succeeded. But those failures are the only reason I have succeeded. I still have lots of room to grow, so many things to learn. I love that this is a process and a continual adding on. These videos will be great for those looking to begin a yoga practice.
If there is a certain pose or instruction you’re looking for, I’d love to know in the comments below. But as always, remember that no matter what your current pose or strength, you are doing good. You are okay. You are powerful and important and loved. You make a difference. If you believe or at least hope to believe these things, you will achieve more than you thought possible. Believe in yourself.
It’s hard for me to narrow down what yoga has given to me in one idea, one thing. If I had to, I’d say it’s given me a real spirituality. This is spirituality in the sense of recognizing that my Spirit it great and good and worthy of giving and receiving love. It’s recognizing that love is the most powerful mover. As I’ve become more comfortable in my own skin, I accept others more. I thought I already did, and I did. However, it’s different now. I see different. I see a connection and a power that we have together. I see myself in others who are complete strangers and it makes me love them. It makes me love you. To love like this, we accept the strengths and weaknesses as they are and celebrate each other because of and in spite of it all.
