I bring you episode 2 of my favorite things! These are the things I really enjoy and wish I could give to you all if I had the time and money to do so.
You can find my 1st post of favorite things here.
Just to recap. I’ve hosted a favorite things party and so enjoyed it. I think of hosting another one constantly. I’ve realized though that I can share these types of things with all of you. They might not all fall under a $5 category, but they are things that I really do use and recommend. They are things that make me happy.
Most recently it’s the following:
Seamless underwear – These are from Target and are the brand Gilligan O’malley. They are not the thong version, just the regular coverage. I went commando for a while in my workout pants until I realized that some of them might be more see-through than I desired. However, I don’t want underwear lines. Cue seamless underwear.
*Note there are different variants in-store. Some of them have just a single fold on the bottom leg holes. You DON’T want those. Even with the thin fold-over, you can still see the line. You want the ones that are simply cut off on the bottom. They don’t ride up under your work out clothes and the best part…you don’t feel like you’re wearing underwear! Come on, that’s automatically a selling-point, right?! Can they transfer to day wear, um yes. So long as you’re okay with feeling like you’re not wearing underwear. It’s a beautiful thing.
“What Do You Do With An Idea?” book (this is an affiliate link) – My friend told me about this book and as soon as I read it, I was sold. It’s so poetic and deep and simple and powerful and…just perfect. We all have ideas. We all think ways that change our lives and those lives around us. This book celebrates those ideas. Every person should read it.
Pura Vida Bracelets – I have been wearing these bracelets for quite a while now. I like their simplicity and that they last for a long time. I like that come in simple or crazy colors. I like that there are different styles. This particular one bar black bracelet is my all-time favorite.
“Headache” Essential Oil Roll On – I am super skeptical of essential oils. I know people love them, I just am apprehensive to large claims about them. That said, I love clean smells and when I won this “crunch time kit” from an instagram challenge, it was a great chance to explore something new. I don’t like the other two in the kit, but the “headache” version is awesome. It is a lavender, peppermint, and rosewood combo. I like that it rolls on and I usually just put it inside of my wrists. I don’t use it for headaches, it just smells good and is relaxing to me.
Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you enjoy your own favorite things, share them this holiday season, and mostly just fill up on feeling content. As I said last time, I hope you surround yourself with things you love and make you feel like a better person. I hope you can declutter enough to enjoy the things that really make a difference in your life. You really are worth it. I’m sending love to each of you. May you live mindful and big.
